Someone lands an internship in another city and needs out of their lease by June. Someone else transfers in and needs a room by August. And the only infrastructure connecting them is a Facebook group, a Google Sheet, and a prayer.

Students-only by design.
PeaPods is students-only by design. Both sides verify with a .edu email. Before anything is signed or paid, subleaser and subleasee meet on a moderated video introduction with a PeaPods team member present. Payments are collected upfront and released on a schedule both sides can see. Deposits come back seven days after checkout unless damage is reported.
